Do you want to know how to reach any place of Milan with the subway? Or do you want to know which is the closest subway station? Hence, use Milano Metro, the iPhone app that helps you with all these stuffs.
Milano Metro is your Milan guide. It is designed around an innovative and efficient routing algorithm (created by iNVASIVE CODE) to quickly create your travel plans using the subway of Milan.
Using Milano Metro, you can easily reach your business meetings or your touristic targets. Milano Metro lets you save your preferred and itineraries in your iPhone, rearrange them in any order, visualize them, and add to or remove from a personal list. You can find the closest subway stations to your current position and your destination.
The location of each station has been carefully remapped for the Milan subway. This will provide you a better accuracy. When you launch it, Milano Metro allows you to choose the origin of your travel from a list of stations or suggests you the closest stations to your current location in Milan. After that, you can choose the final station from a list or, if you do not know it, you can provide an address or the name of a place (museum, square, hotel, etc.). If this place is present in the Google database, Milano Metro will provide the closest subway station.

Dont see how this app could possibly even be used. The map is not interactive. There is no search. The Station List button does not respond to clicking. The app hangs and crashes. What were these people thinking? This is no way to present inforamtion design. Another $2.99 down the drain. Apple, please weed this garbage out before it gets to the end user. Thanks.
Barely usable. Map has poor typography and does not zoom for detail. Stations cannot be sorted or filtered by lines, rudimentary search function, overlarge buttons that dont register touch 50% of the time. And this is for the metro system of Italys business capital! Cmon folks! As if there werent apps that perform similar functions for other cities from which to learn from. Unfortunately, this is one if the only such programs for Milan. To the clueless but surely well-intentioned programmers that put this together: please try again!
Very responsive app and extremely fast. It finds also the closest metro station to an address or a POI...so cool!
